Things That Make Me Smile

I was sitting outside earlier reading and looked over to see this hawk land in the yard.

He found a worm.

                                        I never knew they had so many feathers on their legs.

    I did not know either
    We have lots of hawks but they eat rabbits, mice (we have plenty) and small pets.

      Ours eat the same, along with small birds, but apparently enjoy a worm appetizer from time to time.

    Hawk... Eating a worm???? My but that is a tiny appetizer. -grin-
