Things That Make Me Smile

My Kitchen Witch that is probably 25 years old.  I love bringing her out every year.

My dining room table with my three favorite pumpkins. The small one is a new addition for this year.  I didn't realize it but I didn't put the fruit back in the baskets before I took this.  lol

This candle smells so wonderful.  It makes the room smell like fall.  I'm glad I bought three.

We have a chance for frost this weekend, so I stopped by the farmers market yesterday for maybe one last time.  Can you believe all this local produce was only 14.00?

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday and that you all find something that makes you smile today.

  1. The witch is cute! I need to get my pumpkins on my table today and on my mantel but first, my house desperately needs cleaning.

    1. Thanks Betty. I'm always amazed at how much produce I can get for 20.00 or less. Enjoy your weekend my friend.

  3. Beautiful veggies from the farmer’s market. My daughter went out last night and picked all our tomatoes. Looks like we are at the end of harvest season :(

    1. I'm going to cut some more rosemary and get the last of the peppers today in case we do have a frost overnight. I love fall but always miss having fresh veggies from the garden or the market.

  4. Delightful kitchen witch. I'd want her out all year. ☺

Did you see Hootin' Annie's comment concerning *Our Glorious Leader*???

Delightful to see peeks into your home.

    1. I'm always sad to put her away after Halloween.
I believe she may be correct. I have no idea who can fix the mess we as a country are in.
      I hope you're doing well!

  5. Nice decorations. We had frost last night, so you're move to get to the farmers market one more time was probably a smart move. You did well, only 14.00.

    1. Our farmer's market is awesome. They always have great prices. The farmer that I buy from sells what he grows along with what a few family members grow on their farms, so he always has a great variety. I don't decorate like I used to, but a few touches here and there get me in the spirit.

  9. Awww your pumpkins are so cute! I have turned into a candle NUT for about the last month. I light them first thing in the morning ... at least one and sometimes more than one, on every level of the house except up in the guest room area. I love the fall fragrances! xoxo
