R.I.P. Jet 9-29-2006 to 1-31-2022

Yesterday morning Jet was very weak and wasn't moving around much at all.  We took him to his appointment and the vet wanted to keep him overnight on an IV to try to hydrate him but I knew it wasn't going to work and at 4:15 they called saying if we wanted to see him we needed to come soon.  We got there within 15 minutes and he was already gone.  We spent some time with him and said our goodbyes.  

Jet was a funny, crazy soul that brought a ton of love and laughter into our home and lives and he will greatly be missed.

    So sorry for your loss. It will take time, to have the hurt, go away. But it will ease....

    What a wonderful long life he had! And happy life with, his people. Remember this.

    I am so sorry. They become a family member and it is so sad when they pass. I know he will live on always in your hearts and memories.

    Oh, Lori I am so sorry. Losing a beloved pet is so hard. But you did everything you could my friend. I can honestly say that losing a pet is in some ways more painful than losing a child. I know because I have done both. Franka's death is ever with me, but losing my dog stung in a different way. Again, I am so so sorry.

      Thank you Kim. It's hard because I'm second guessing if we did the right thing putting him through the surgery. But if we hadn't, we'd wonder too so it's a no-win situation.
      I didn't know you lost a child. That had to be devastating.

    Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though he lived a long time it's still going to hurt losing him. RIP Jet.
